We are pleased to announce the events and dates for the 2025/2026 Darcy Price New Zealand Ocean Ski Series, made up of 8 premier ocean ski races held across Aotearoa this summer.

• Saturday 4th October – Windy City Downwind/2025 NZ Ocean Ski National Championships, Wellington (Kupe Canoe Club)

• Saturday 11th October – Tawhiti Rahi Coastal Challenge, Tukukaka

• Saturday 6th December – Deepsouth Downwind, Queenstown

• 1st -31st January – Paddler Virtual Champs, anywhere in the world

• Saturday 7th February – James Moore-morial Race, Mt Maunganui, Tauranga

• Saturday 14th March – Queen & King of the Bay, Tasman

• Saturday 4th April – Heads2Harbour, Whakatane

• Saturday 9th May – Auckland King and Queen of the Bay, Takapuna, Auckland

The Darcy Price NZ Ocean Surfski Series is the national ocean racing series comprising independently run ocean ski events across the country.

​A paddler’s best 3 races will count towards the series results, with winners recognised at the final event.

With this series we hope to:

1. Promote the sport and grow the ocean paddling community.

2. Encourage paddlers to compete, challenge themselves and experience these fantastic events.

3. Showcase the amazing ocean paddling we have all around Aotearoa New Zealand

4. Provide a pathway for paddlers to improve and compete in international ocean ski events.
